A new selection of GRP exterior doors are available that may be painted or retrofitted into existing wood frames. With u-values ranging from 1.7 to 1.8 wm2/k, the range conforms with the most recent Part L regulations. These doors include a high-density foam core, broad wooden stiles, and wood grain-printed GRP front. Glass-reinforced plastic, often known as GRP, is a robust composite material composed of plastic that has been strengthened with glass fibres. It is significantly more rigid and less flexible than PVC. The doors come in six various colors and conventional imperial sizes, and they can be found in both old and modern types. They also require no maintenance. Additionally, they have a 10-year production life and may be painted in any color throughout that period.
